Bandana Kumari

Bandana Kumari, born in Khagaul, Bihar, is an artist whose paintings narrate stories of strength, feminism, and the interconnectedness of women and nature. A Master of Fine Arts graduate from Raja Mansingh Tomar Music & Arts University, Gwalior, and a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Arts and Crafts, Patna, her work has earned national and international recognition. Awards include the HK Kejriwal Young Artist Award, the M.P State Award, and the Bihar State Award, among others. Her art has also been featured in auctions, including at Chennai's esteemed Auction House.

Bandana’s's vibrant canvases depict women as powerful figures, often adorned with natural elements like flowers, birds, and animals, symbolizing their inherent strength and connection to the environment.
